Basements

With the noticeable lack of available building space in London, extensions and loft conversions are as popular as ever. Surprisingly though, basement creation is still relatively untried by many. For not much more than the cost of an extension or loft conversion, a basement will give you much more space and add value to your home.

A newly excavated basement becomes a fully functional additional storey with the same floor area as the rest of your home! It won't be dark and compact as we build our basements full height and with plenty of natural light entering from structural light-well(s). With modern technology, we make basements waterproof, warm, fully insulated, full height, well lit with natural light even if a cellar or basement does not currently exist.

Firstly we underpin the entire building to stop any movement and then we excavate the basement. Building Regulations are strictly adhered to as the local council's Building Control Inspectors will rightly scrutinise every basement excavation project. You can even have bathrooms or kitchens below ground level.
