Lofts & Roofs

Loft conversions are still very much a favourite in London. Again, because of limited building space homeowners make the most of the space that they have. We build larger than "standard" loft conversions using proven engineering techniques. All carpentry works are done on site and we custom make the staircase, windows & doors, decorative panels & mouldings etc in our Joinery Workshop to match to whatever is existing. We would usually insulate the floor against noise and to minimise heat emissions. We would also insulate the new roof. We install fire escape roof windows as well as normal roof windows and having an en-suite bathroom in a loft conversion is a given.

Roof extensions

It is quite possible to add a new storey to your property, providing planning permission is granted. The exterior walls can be built up in matching brick to accommodate a full height storey and  new roof. Structural integrity must first be surveyed to be sure the additional weight can be supported. Internal walls can sit on steel joists, staircases and joinery can be made to match existing. Click on the gallery opposite for an example.
